Summary
The Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS) focuses on fabricated integrated circuit (IC) designs -- in contrast to simulated circuits and analyzed models -- for all applications using relevant materials and interconnections.
The roots of the Society go back to the launch of the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) in 1955. Since then, the Society has expanded with the field of solid-state circuits.
Today the Society has over 9000 members, produces the Journal of Solid-State Circuits (JSSC), the most downloaded technical journal in IEEE Xplore, and sponsors about 10 major technical conferences annually.
The Solid-State Circuits Society focuses on education for your career in integrated circuits with:
- Journal articles
- Conferences
- Education
- SSCS Women in Circuits
- Online tutorials
- Local Participation thru Chapter Meetings and Past Chapter Presentations
2012 is the inaugural year of the Oregon chapter of the Solid-State Circuits Society.
